If you just can’t get enough of Kongar-ol Ondar...

...and I'm thinking there are thousands of you out there who can’t, here he is in 2007 on David Letterman’s television program (2:58).

Kondar-ol’s name in Tuvan is Ондар Коңгар-оол. I’m given to understand that the name Kondar-ol translates to “loud boy” and, boy, is he ever.

If you still can’t get enough of Kondar-ol, just keep clicking on the link in this post over and over again. Eventually you will get enough.

I guarantee it.

  1. Kondar's voice is amazing. We mustn't laugh at it because I am sure it is part of a non-western singing tradition that reaches far back in time. With regard to Kongar-ol Ondar's outfit, it would suit you fine as you sit on the porch you've just built, playing your Alabamian banjo while you survey your brand new chewing tobacco plantation...and Miss Ellie would appear in the doorway, "Can I git you something Misser Bob?"

  2. Oh my, that was certainly different and I would love a copy of the lyrics. I think I enjoyed that, which is good. However, the dog ran out of the room, which is not so good.

Happy Sunday to you, my friend.
