By the time I was 14 I had met only one aunt an one cousin. All the aunts and uncles and cousins are gone now, and I hadn't seen a cousin in 55 years. The ones left are children of two of my first cousins cousins, whom I know only through their Facebook pages. My four step-siblings, on the other hand, grew up with ten aunts, ten uncles, and 22 first cousins all living within half and hour of each other. I felt cheated somehow.rhymeswithplaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10870439618129001633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2286321024842109960.post-25273716620390608462019-01-17T09:39:22.537-05:002019-01-17T09:39:22.537-05:00Yokshire Pudding, my first-ever real job in 1960 p...Yokshire Pudding, my first-ever real job in 1960 paid $140 USD per week, and that seemed like a small fortune at the time.rhymeswithplaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10870439618129001633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2286321024842109960.post-90994431728658929892019-01-17T09:37:24.586-05:002019-01-17T09:37:24.586-05:00Thank you, Emma I hadn't thought of that poss...Thank you, Emma I hadn't thought of that possibility, but you are right.

rhymeswithplaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10870439618129001633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2286321024842109960.post-67071832795753309112019-01-14T23:07:59.738-05:002019-01-14T23:07:59.738-05:00It is so nice to have family.
