I saw this picture on Sam’s blog and had to have it on mine (blog envy, thy name is rhymeswithplague). You may be asking, “Sam who?” and you have every right to do so. But that’s for me to know and you to find out.
In other news, the spirit of Christmas seems to have taken the day off. But, just like General Douglas MacArthur, he will return.
I’m counting on it.
Hello, world! This blog began on September 28, 2007, and so far nobody has come looking for me
with tar and feathers.
On my honor, I will do my best not to bore you. All comments are welcome
as long as your discourse is civil and your language is not blue.
Happy reading, and come back often!
And whether my cup is half full or half empty, fill my cup, Lord.

Post-election thoughts
Here are some mangled aphorisms I have stumbled upon over the years: 1. If you can keep your head when all anout you are losing thei...

ReplyDeleteoh these poor presidents. When will they learn lol
ReplyDeleteAs I said on Sam's blog, this picture is insulting both to the office of President and, at a personal level, to Mr Obama himself. On the Americophile meter, my arrow just moved downwards. Shame on you Mr Brague. I have messaged the FBI about this treachery so don't be surprised if somebody other than Santa descends your chimney on Christmas Day!
ReplyDeleteFunny picture, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNo, Rhymes if I was pilfering....(I know this is a family-friendly blog, so I'm pulling an abdominal muscle trying to express myself in a family-friendly way)...things, THAT'S it, if I was pilfering things from other people's blogs then I wouldn't give away the identity of those blogs either. No, I wouldn't, by crackedty.
ReplyDeletePutz, Bill Shakespeare said, "To thine own self be true, and it follows as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man."
ReplyDeleteLady, presidents don't ever learn. They have to be ex-presidents to do that.
Lord Pudding, Esq., if I had wanted to be insulting to President Obama, I would simply have compared the promises he made to the promises he has broken.
Toyin O., glad you got a chuckle, and welcome to the comments section of my blog!
Snow, I wasn't pilfering, I was simply engaging in a little redistribution of comic wealth. Actually, Sam pilfered it too, from the website plainly shown at the bottom of the photo.
The verification word is plisma. You can plisma some of the people all of the time, and you can plisma all of the people some of the time, but you can't plisma all of the people all of the time.
You pulled Stinkface, and I think that stinks. it was probably about me, wasn't it? Ha.
ReplyDeleteSnow, as you probably know by now, I didn't pull it, I just moved it forward by a day. (And may I say what an extremely observant, diligent, and rapid reader of my blog you are!)
