And now for something completely different

Since Yorkshire Pudding is leaving for Thailand on January 3rd to teach at St. Stephen's International School, I thought a send-off concert in his honor would be appropriate.

From the (talk about coincidence!) Festival di Santo Stefano, XXII edizione, in Bologna, Italy, on June 30, 2010, for your listening and viewing pleasure, here are The Glass Duo with their unique artistry.

And if you click on NEXT in the upper right corner at the end of each number, not only will you have heard the following pieces as you probably have never heard them before, but you will also have spent more than 33 minutes in another dimension.

1. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by P. Tchaikovsky (2:37)
2. Invention No. 8 by J. S. Bach (1:27)
3. Mazurka opus 68, No. 2 by F. Chopin (3:24)
4. Mazurka opus 50, No. 1 by K. Szymanovsky (3:40)
5. Libertango by Astor Piazzolla (3:23)
6. Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by J. S. Bach (10:56)
7. Morning Mood and Anitra's Dance by E. Grieg (6:40)
8. Prelude opus 28, No. 4 by F. Chopin (2:50)

Bon voyage to Sir Yorkshire of Pudding and a very merry Christmas to the rest of you!
