Wild horses couldn't drag me away...
I admit it. I am an unabashed and enthusiastic fan of Susan Boyle’s singing.
Surely you remember Susan. If you don’t, you must have been living under a rock somewhere for the past six months. And if you don't care for her voice, pardon me for saying it but you have resonance where your brains ought to be.
After stunning the world with her rendition last spring of “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables on the British television program, Britain's Got Talent 2009, Susan has done it again.
In her American debut last night, here she is singing “Wild Horses” as a guest artist on the finale of America’s Got Talent 2009.
Oh, yeah, the song (from her first album, due to be released in November) was also recorded by some dude named Jagger a few years back.

I absolutely LOVE Susan's voice. Magnificent, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI was at university in Scotland with Susan Boyle's next door neighbour and if you are prepared to leave Mrs Brague for a romance with Susan I am reasonably confident that a first date can be arranged. You would make a lovely couple. Wild horses wouldn't separate you.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time Ms Boyle got recognised solely for her singing ability. She is a true artist with very well trained, controlled voice.

ReplyDeletejinksy, I don't know how much formal training Susan received, but she does sing in her church choir.
Yorkshire Pudding, Mrs. RWP has asked me to inform you that there would be at least one wild horse ready to separate them, and that Susan would have another new hair-do when the encounter ended.
She has a wonderful voice. Thanks for giving us this link. Really enjoyed it :-)
