I couldn’t be in church today

...so I worshiped with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in the privacy of my own home.

Thou, O Lord, Are a Shield For Me (5:37)

Song of Moses (7:39)

Worthy Is the Lamb (5:39)

It sure felt like being in church to me.

  1. I do sincerely hope the reason you couldn't be in church today was not because you are unwell... ?

  2. The Lamb certainly is worthy but so are the Beef and the Chicken. Sorry you couldn't make your habitual Sunday visit to church. Maybe next weekend?

  4. Is it your health which kept you out of church? I hope not. I really, really hope not.

  5. All, I was not unwell but I am not officially well yet, either. I am still officially recuperating. This was the fifth Sunday in a row that I have been out of church, but I do hope to be back at the Yamaha Clavinova with chime, piano, and pipe organ settings at the ready next Sunday morning. Thanks to all of for asking, even the person who doesn't know when something he thinks is funny is not funny.

  8. Putz, the norman mabernacle choir had a previous engagement. Actgually it was norman himself who got engaged to one of the osmond family's many offspring's many offspring. A lottery has now begun in utahr as to whether the progeny of their alliance will be a little bit country or a little bit rock and roll.

  9. Actgually? Surely you mean actually Bob? And who on earth is " the person who doesn't know when something he thinks is funny is not funny"? By the way, I hope you giggled at my meat joke!

  10. Yorkie Pud, "Actgually" was my special tribute to Putz's delightful and innovative spelling, a nod in his direction. The unfunny funny person reference was a nod in your direction. But you knew that. Not all of us are dunces out here in blogland. Some of us are, to be sure, but not all of us.

Not all that glitters is gold, either, but some of it is.
