It is important to spell correctly because...

...otherwise the message you send might not be the message you intended.

  1. And desserts spelled backwards is stressed. Being stranded on a desert island would be stressful. Being stranded on a dessert island? Count me in!

  4. I'm reading "Huckleberry Finn," and am at the park where he's at a funeral and keeps referred to the deceased as the diseased.

    P.S. I really didn't use the word park intentionally, but it fits your theme, so I'll leave it.

We are bombarded daily by abbreviations in everyday life, abbreviations that are never explained, only assumed to be understood by everyone...
