Here, from the Jesus Creed blog, is one of the best things I’ve read in a long time.
You don’t have to read it if you don’t want to.
But I hope you will.
Hello, world! This blog began on September 28, 2007, and so far nobody has come looking for me with tar and feathers.
On my honor, I will do my best not to bore you. All comments are welcome
as long as your discourse is civil and your language is not blue.
Happy reading, and come back often!
And whether my cup is half full or half empty, fill my cup, Lord.

Maybe the more it changes, the more it doesn’t stay the same
Although the New Testament was written originally in Greek, it is not the scholarly classical Greek of antiquity but Koine Greek, the langua...
That was an interesting juxtaposition of reading. Immediately before alighting at you blog (and thence to the Jesus Creed) I had visited the British Humanist Association where they too talk about morality and whether religion is essential to becoming a 'good person'. Two very different perspectives on a common problem!
