They seem genuinely happy to see John Kennedy and his wife driving through their Texan city on that bright November afternoon. How quickly hope turned to tragedy. Never such innocence again.

ReplyDeleteI remember the day - the newsflash came on the TV. I remember which show was interrupted. I went through to the kitchen to tell mum. 58 years ago.
